Mitch returned...after some incomprehensible begging/argument/understanding (not from my part, I had no desire at that point to continue dealing with him) but...

I wanted Lilo to have a wonderful Xmas...and a wonderful Xmas we had. I don't know how/what's going to happen now. He's deeply interested in going his own separate way...following his new age aspirations. Clearly, it means more to him than being in her life.
